Welcome to the Salty Seabirds Community!

Imagine a group of enthusiastic swimmers who embrace the sea’s embrace all year round along the vibrant beaches of Brighton and Hove. We’re not a typical club; think of us as a close-knit community of swimmers who share a passion for the ocean.

Some of us are all-season swimmers, embracing the brisk waters with open arms, while others prefer the snug embrace of a wet-suit. We are much more interested in your enthusiasm to dive in than your choice of swimwear. Distance and speed? Not our focus.

We don’t have a clubhouse, so beachside changing is the name of the game. And while we’re not an official club, we do take safety seriously. During the sunny months, we stick to lifeguarded shores, and during the wilder winter days, we make smart choices. Find us on Facebook, answer the safety questions and you are in the group.
